Digital Asset Management
Digital Asset Management encompasses the tools and processes needed to describe, catalogue, store, search and retrieve your content for re-use and sharing. MD Informatics has developed an integrated suite of intuitive Web-based tools to accomplish all these tasks, making the content development process more cost-efficient and less time consuming.

Knowledge Management
Algorithms are a great way to express knowledge, for example to teach clinical guidelines and any other material that can be configured as a decision tree, as well as to serve as point-of-practice decision support. MD Informatics has developed an application that allows users to re-format lengthy guidelines and protocols into a rapidly navigable hierarchical algorithmic structure that can be run through a Web browser.

![]() LAMDA (Logical Algorithm Management and Decision-support Application) is probably unlike any knowledge management program you've seen before. But once you've seen it, you may find yourself imagining all sorts of possibilities — from teaching clinical practice guidelines and protocols to situation and patient analysis to point-of-practice decision support. Anything that lends itself to a decision-tree format is doable with the LAMDA architecture (including non-healthcare related knowledge domains). In fact, LAMDA is the same architecture upon which we built Medulator Lite. |

Case-Based Learning
Among commercially available online patient case simulation applications, our CBL systems truly offer unparalleled levels of realism, interactivity, comprehensive assessment, and performance feedback in a rich multimedia environment. When our CBL modules are paired with our complementary streaming didactic lectures, our multi-modal platform with built-in Learning Management System (LMS) provides the only integrated "presentation-practice" dual-pedagogy system available today. And to support the instructional effectiveness of the integrated system, we continue to engage in scientific investigation of our systems in partnership with some of the most highly respected Cognitive Psychology researchers from elite academic institutions.

![]() Medical Response to Weapons of Mass Destruction, A Course on Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Warfare for Healthcare Providers, was the first of its kind following the devastating events of 2001. This Web-based course combines Medantic Technology's didactic presentations and Medulator cases delivered via a custom Learning Management System. Originally published for Medantic Technology by Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins, the course was co-developed with subject matter expertise provided by The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) and certification provided by The Henry Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF). Since its introduction in 2002, the course has collected an impressive list of institutional licensees, including major federal organizations and private healthcare and academic institutions. Click the link below for a full demonstration. Also new for 2005, all course lectures are available on CD-ROM (see below). |
